3 Ways to Use A December Vowel Match Activity

Whole Group short vowel sort and an independent student sort.

Short Vowel Match

Here’s a vowel match with a holiday theme so it can be used this week.  This sheet can be used first as a whole group sort (pocket chart not included). After students know the pictures and understand the task, it can be used as an independent center activity.  Finally, this can be used as a vowel match assessment.

Students can cut and glue items under the present.

This set has larger sized pictures for a whole group or pocket chart sort and one vowel worksheet.
