Want a fun way to build short vowel words? This is it. This Criss Cross Magic Square set is an engaging lesson for early students. Students are asked to build words with a common short vowel. There are 30 cards in the set containing a criss cross magic square grid with 4 consonants, 1 vowel and two pictures. There are also 30 cards in the set containing criss cross magic squares with just pictures. There is a recording sheet and an answer guide.
There are:
- 30 cards at 2 levels,
- 6 cards each for all 5 vowels,
- 2 cvc pictures on each card,
- a recording sheet, and
- an answer guide.
These cards can be used in:
- small group lessons,
- Intervention groups, and
- Independent centers.
