Description
Want a 26-day journal based on CVC words and writing? Want a writing center that can be used daily and independently? This set is designed to help students create their own book with their writing. Using the picture, students will write the cvc words (letters q and x are different), illustrate to create a story, then write about their illustration.
There is a black and white cover page for the booklet.
There are 31 pages to include:
- 19 Consonants are represented with CVC words
- 2 options for each vowel – the vowels are highlighted in the middle of the cvc (cab, wet, hid, cot, sub) AND they are at the beginning of a word (ax, elf, ill, ox, up)
- Q and X are non-cvc letters – Qu is at the beginning of “quill” with both the q and u in the first box and z in the ending box. There are faint, traceable letters in this word. X is at the end of cvc (mix).
