Description
Need a fun way to practice spelling? This set includes two styles to help students stretch the sounds and identify the beginning, middle, and ending sounds. Style 1 has students color one of two choices for each position in the word. Style 2 has students rearrange letters to spell three words that are similar in beginning or medial sounds. Style 1 sheets contain 12 CVC words. Style 2 sheets contain 15 short vowel words, mostly CVC, but some have two-letter consonant beginnings (kn) and endings (ck, ll, sh). All two-letter consonant beginnings and endings are in one box and meant to be kept together.
There are 30 pages of resources in two styles.
- 10 black and white reproducible sheets in Style 1
- 10 full color sheets to be laminated or put in a laminated sleeve

- 10 black and white reproducible sheets in Style 2
- Answer sheets for all pages
